Last years pumpkin picking

Gourds; October 2007
I'm feeling nostalgic for Halloween. I miss it so much!
And you just can't get gourds like this around here.

you are a former new yorker? now in australia? I'm in rochester ny, so you can live a little vicariously if you'd like. :)
i love pumpkin picking, and putting gourds all around the house. watching the leaves change, the smell in the air.. it's lovely!

Those are great... we used to have lots of crazy carved gourds around the house at Halloween in Canada - and I also miss the variety here in Aus. But we get mangoes and tropical fruit, so we win some, too....
