My first giveaway!
Blogtoberfest really opened my eyes to the beauty of the blog giveaway. There were so many great items to win! I felt very lucky to have won a few.
So, I too want to spread the love with a Valentines Day giveaway. Not only will it be fun, it will help me to finally deal with some of my off cuts that I've been saving for way too long. My hope is to do a giveaway a month. We shall see!First up are these 3 small drawstring bags, 100% cotton.
Dimensions approximately 7 inches X 9 1/2 inches.
These were made using off cuts that I've saved from NYC, when I worked with a childrens wear designer. Yes, I've kept them for all those years. (insert googly eyed guy here) Most of my scraps are off cuts from this time in my life. I hated to see those lovely bits going to waste! I even posted boxes off to my mother in South Dakota for her Lutheran quilters organization. LOL
Pictured below are a few ways these bags are used in our house:
They make excellent storage for our cowboy and indian collection. Keeps them separated from the pirate collection! And our felt food and felt puppet collection love their home.
(cowboys, pirates and felt food not included in giveaway!)
The bags go easily into a backpack or tote for those days out around town with a little person or big person.
Giveaway ends Saturday, 14th February 09! All you have to do is leave a response to this post and you are in. I'll do a random draw and announce the winner on Valentines Day!
Don't be shy, leave a reply! ;-)

I use drawstring bags for so many things, I'd love one or two more, especially if they are hand made by you...!!! I love them for packing bits & pieces when we go away.
