Latest bag

This one I made last week. It's also from a Nicole Mallalieu pattern. I used this beautiful cotton fabric that was once a skirt of my mothers in the 1950's. I couldn't get a good photo of the inside - just not the right light and not the right setting. Must work on that.

But all in all, I'm pleased! This one is for me but more on the way as I improve my skills! I think I will try using a different kind of interfacing with my next bag. I had trouble getting it smooth.

Nice!

May I ask, how many bags do you own yourself??
I have too many bags (though that's not really possible) and I have a lot of jackets, too.

Much love from sunny Ireland

xx Ines

PS did you celebrate your winter solstice?

I like it!! Which pattern is that anyway? Like I don't own enough already! I just placed an order with Nicole for some of her photo transfer paper. I'm anxious to give it a try!

One can never have TOO many bags!

I just can't get warm at the moment...I can't imagine how cold it is for you. (But I'm a total wuss when it comes to the cold. Call it getting older...)

Found a baby snap of Magnus the other day. It made me smile & contemplate life!

Love from all up here with the oink oink flu.
