And another post!

We turned the compost a few days ago. Check out what was underneath the top layer! I am so stoked. It looks great! I love composting. It's so easy! Everyone on earth should do it.

Since we've been in Canberra, we have but one bag of rubbish in the bin a week for pickup. We could probably make that a small bag too on some weeks. I wish we had been composting in Sydney in our little semi with small (make that postage stamp) sized yard. My plan was to use the Bokashi system but we just didn't get onto it. Naughty us!

Nothing to fear folks! Compost. It's great!

Oooh! I'm a keen composter too! My friends think I'm totally kooky getting all excited about soil, but it's so great isn't it? I can't imagine what we'd do with all our kitchen scraps if we didn't compost them, and my garden would be much the poorer for it....
Keep on digging my friend!

We have a compost too but I must admit I leave it all up to Mr Teacups. I unfortunately was not born with the gardening gene.

Great compost pile! Redworms are the best for this!

Oh mate, what beautiful soil you have there...!!!

Our compost bin met with a huge accident this week. Will blog about it today some time...it was ugly, really ugly.

I love composting, making something so beautiful out of waste.

Oh I found you again! :) Glad to see life in Canberra is going well. I am blogging a little now too! I can't believe how big and gorgeous Magnus is now. Laci is growing fast too.
Karin,
I just started composting with red wigglers and I've fond it to be very fun! Do you compost indoors or outdoors? Is that a silly question? My worms will die in the Phx heat so my compost bin is inside!

XOXO
