Cold house, Warm socks

 

This house is cold. So I whipped up this pair of socks. It's my first pair to knit. I used a very vintage pattern book that belonged to my grandmother. The socks have seams along the instep. I have since located some pattern on the internet that are circular, which I'd like to try next. But for a first stab at it, I think they turned out pretty good! And they work, my feet are not nearly as cold as before! 100% Aussie wool. But... they have been talking to each other.....  Yes, it's true. One is bigger than the other. I hope we don't end up with the dreaded sock bullying. I won't have any of that in our house!!
