A moment passes.........

Bubster: And butter. Don't forget the butter.
Me: I won't, mate. I heard you.
Bubster: Are you putting on the mayonnaise now?
Me (sigh): Yes. I am.
Bubster: And the butter? Don't forget the butter!
Me (sigh sigh): I won't, mate. I'm remembering.
Bubster: It's a HAM sandwich right? With mayonnaise??

Me: Of course!
Bubster: Ok good. That's what I want.
Me: I know!

I love that he is so sure about his needs and preferences...I can just see him ordering that sandwich in a cafe...what a hoot...!!!

Beautiful boy, it's been quite a privilege sharing in his growing mate, an honour indeed.

Oh dear! My little men have the same conversation with me. Ash has yet to out grow it, so I've got 3 little men doing that bit. Sigh indeed.

Yeah, I'm with Kerrie, he will be great in cafes won't he? He'll sound like Jack Nicholson doing that obsessive compulsive character...
