New header!

What do you think? It's one of my 'Playscape' photos.

I'm trying to do a bit of work on my blog layout. I plan to make some changes. I'd like 3 columns. How does one do that?

I've been very remiss here. I just haven't had any online time lately. I've gone into a Blog Fog. I keep trying to find my way to the computer so I can do some blogging!!!

More to come. Off to watch Mad Men.

See if this helps you http://www.bloggerbuster.com/2008/01/creating-three-column-or-wide-two.html. I'm embarrassed to admit that being the complete comupter idiot that I am, I can't figure out these directions! BTW, Nicole's Day Bag has a zipper gusset. She's in the process of revising this particular purse although I don't know why (I think it's a great pattern as is!) so if you order it you might want to inquire as to whether you should wait for the new version.

Thanks Kel! I'm glad you like the photo. It was fun to work on it at Flicker.

LOL! So 3 columns is not as easy as I'd hoped then. Ah sigh. Well, I shall still pursue I think. Three columns just seems so much more efficient! (And gee, I'm ALL about that right? LOL)

Laura, thanks for the pattern info. I will check it out! :-)

I love your pic, did you take it?

I am computer illiterate, so I am not saying anything about the 3 columns dilemma.

Keep the two... please. it's just, i have a 12 inch screen so three column will make everything either squashed or introduce side scrolling...

And there is a real run for mobile/netbooks now, and some of them have 9 inch screens or even smaller. They are such cool, nifty little things. But that's just me being a small screen person trying to convince you not to go to big. I am always tempted to get a 22 inch screen when I get fed up with petite...

Is that green indian going to shoot?
Cool picture, did you find it like that or set it p yourself?

xx Ines

Hmm. That's a good point, Ines. That is true. Small screens do require a lot of scrolling! I personally hate scrolling too much. LOL

Hmm! Well, since it sounds like a bugger to change, I probably won't get to it anyway. These days, everything needs to be simple enough for me to do it quickly. LOL! If not, my brain just turns into pancake mix.

And yes, I did take that photo! :-) I take photos of the Bubster's playtime after he's finished. This scene was depicting some sort of wagon turnover like in old western movies - he's into westerns. I uploaded it to my Flickr account and then played around with it in the free editing they provide. It's a lot of fun. Definitely recommended by me! :-)

flickr, I have picas at the moment, because that's were "the google" uploads to. But i like flickr a lot and you have some nifty little tricks on your blog using flickr. hmmm, food for thought or another project?? HELP! Not another project (chuckle)!!! Kidding.

oh, and as I have been there some 38 years ago, I can spot the turned over vehicle barricades, excuse me!! I grew up with three brothers (no sisters) :-P

It's wonderful you capture these images, they capture all the fun of child play. When I go see my friend who has a four year old son, I can spend hours playing lego, in the sandpit, garden... lots of stuff with him, neglecting my friend...

xx much love Ines
The new header looks great. I used the tutorial that Laura suggested to change to a 3 column. It was a bit tricky but I got it worked out. I think they look good.
